Note on My Rasfw Policy

This note is by Jo Walton.

I was involved in defending myself on rasfw from someone accusing me of having a commercial agenda in choosing to praise a book. In the course of the argument I cited Nash's "I think that I will never see/ a billboard lovely as a tree" and talked at length about the difference between trees and billboards, and why what I post on rasfw is part of the forest that is the group, and not a billboard.

Ken MacLeod then wrote and posted this amazingly perceptive poem.

I think it's marvellous, and I'm honoured to have it on my web page.
